About
Jerry is a 1-year-old American Shorthair — grey-brown mackerel tabby with white paws, a white chin, and a white belly. He came into the picture through a friend of a friend of a friend on Facebook, and he's been running the place ever since.
He's vocal, opinionated, and will absolutely let you know when it's time to eat. During the day he's a desk cat, lounging in his wooden bowl perch between two monitors. Mornings are chaos. Afternoons are for feather toys and watching birds through the window.
The Essentials
Bird Watcher
Squirrels and birds outside the window are appointment television. He will chirp at them.
Desk Cat
If you're working, he's supervising. The wooden bowl perch between the monitors is his office.
Climber
Wall shelves, cat trees, hammocks — if it's elevated, he's on it. Vertical space is his domain.
Vocal
Jerry talks. A lot. He has opinions about food, doors, the time of day, and whether you're paying enough attention.
The Social Life
Jerry's a solo cat who loves people. Guests get the full greeting — he'll come say hello, demand attention, and probably try to sit on whatever you're doing.
He's also into playdates with other cats. Getting along has never been the problem. The car ride over, though — that's another story entirely.
